the next step

still can;t do piccies, so here is the story so far, we are in a little village 10km north of Agadir havin a little RnR and doing some maintainance on the bikes after a hectic few days, we got to Zagora and headed off into the desert off road, the track got really hard and and 60 km into a 130km stretch Bruce had really had enough, heat exhaustion and lack of water havin lost 3 ltrs of water on the bumpy stuff, A family in the middle of nowhere, the only place we saw in the distance took us in and gave us a bed and water, this family did not even want payment for feeding and watering us, I insisted and left them 300 DRMS,about 30 quid, for the kids you understand, look folks we would not have died but we were in the shit, trust me, after a nights rest and plenty of water Bruce was fine and she did the next 7Okm of off road without any probs.
Right; today I,ve straightened Bruces front end up after her 3 Offs in the sand and I am looking for some heat shielding for my side panel cos mine has melted, it was 45 Deg yesterday.

A little thought I had the other night in a hotel after the desert section, I have killed millions of fly,s in my motorcycle riding career, every one of the bastards came back to haunt me, the only relief was in the shower, funnily enough they dissapear at night only to wake us up in the morning,
Hey ho, helmets on and kill the little bastards,

17/6/08

OK folks, this is our first time in a tinternet cafe and I would of prefered a english key board but here goes anyway:
We arrived in Morocco via Ciuta it was quite a experience clearing imigration, it got late so we spent the night at Punda negro in a expensive hotel, well 50 quid anyhow,

The next day we rode down to Katama which is famous for some plant or other, whatever it is shit they grow a lot of it, as far as the eye can see, we found a hotel that was not full of gangsters and spent a nice evening watching the footy with the locals;
Talk about culture shock, it was fine to smoke as much of this funny smelling stuff but if all you wanted was a beer it had to be bought on the black market, I did manage to get 7 beers and it was OK to drink them sat round the telly, 10 quid a night and the owner gave us a tour of his garden, very informative he was too.

Next day was a ride to the famous Cascades D,ouz and a night in a hostal for a tenner, these falls are really spectacular and next time in a cafe I will learn how to post the photos we have:

We then headed off to Ouzazeti arriving late so had to take a hotel in town, nice gaff tho an it had a pool and beer, good enough for us

Today was a strange one , we were in the middle of nowhere and we came asross a Berber guy broke down in a shitty renault 5, I could not leave this guy ; it was 40km to anywhere and 40plus degrees sooooooo, hop on mate to my already heavy bike ; when we got to his village we had tea with the family,
Arrived at Zagora this afternoon and found a reasonable hotel with pool and beer for 25 quid, So then folks we have 130kms of off road to do tomorrow, It should be fun in 40degrees:

Watch this space, I hope to post some really good photo,s next time, Pete an Bruce
